The Italian Squash Federation (FIGS) is waiting for you at the Italian Junior Open 2014 - ESF European Junior Circuit Gran Prix event!

The IJO 2014 is scheduled to take place from Friday 20th June to Sunday 22th June 2014, at the Figs National Technical Centre in Riccione.

I’ve attached a copy of the entry form which is also available on the official website www.federsquash.it

All the relevant information is on the entry form but should you need any further information we will be more than happy to assist you.

The entry form, as well as the travel and accommodation details, must be filled in and returned to FIGS by Sunday 25th May 2014. Confirmation of payment must be received by Sunday 25th may 2014.

Please, note that the entry should be signed by your national squash association.

IMPORTANT - SPIN IS MANDATORY - As specified by the WSF and ESF rules, players must hold an active Squash Player Identification Number (SPIN) to compete in all ESF Registered events.
Players without a SPIN can register through the WSF website www.worldsquash.org/spin or through his National Association.

IJO-2013-u19ITALIAN JUNIOR OPEN 2013 - A GREAT SUCCESS!!!
- The 21th edition of the Italian Junior Open, held in Riccione at Figs National Technical Centre from 21st to 23rd June 2013, was a very successful tournament with 130 participants from 16 different countries (Austria, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, England, France, Hungary, Italy, Lietchenstein, Netherlands, Qatar, Scotland, Slovenia, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine and United States of America).
The Italian Squash Federation would like to thank all the players and their families, that have taken part in the Italian Junior Open 2013; If our tournament has been recognized as Grand prix is above all thanks to you, that have followed us faithfully over the years.
260 matches have been played in seven categories: U13 boys, U15 girls and boys, U17 girls and boys, U19 girls and boys.

We thank all the referees (Anna Rita Ugolini, Valentina Alfieri, Mauro Gabbiati, Riccardo Gibellini, Vincenzo Lauta, Carmelo Zizzo, Yuri Marangoni, Massimo Squillace) and the tournament referees (Massimo Matteazzi, Patrizio Potenza), for their very hard and important work.

We would also thank our sponsors: Mr. Nadeem Osman of TOG Squash, Boston – USA and Punto Stile Riccione - that have offered prizes, for the first classified in each categories - Gruppo Scai Torino and DUNLOP Sports.

We hope you have enjoyed the tournament and hope to see all of you next year. Goodbye, Arrivederci a tutti al prossimo anno!!!
